The IRIS Center creates high-quality online instructional resources about evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices. These free resources are designed to give educators the knowledge and skills they need to improve the educational outcomes of all students, especially struggling learners and those with disabilities. IRIS resources:
- Are used in pre-service courses, professional development trainings, and individualized independent learning opportunities
- Enhance the awareness, knowledge, and skills of current and future education personnel
- Align with professional standards and high-leverage practices
- Are used across the country and in 222 countries and territories worldwide

Come to Work with IRIS!
Vanderbilt students are eligible for part-time student positions, which usually range from five to ten hours per week. Undergraduate and Master’s student work assignments involve information gathering, data entry, assisting with dissemination activities, and much more.

The IRIS Center is supported by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) and located at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development in Nashville, TN.
